Nouha Taouk is the oldest of five siblings, all born in Australia to Lebanese parents. She began cooking with her grandmother, Citi Leila, and mother, Joumana, when she was five years old, and continues to reinvent traditional Lebanese food in a modern Australian setting. Her life in the multicultural metropolis that is Sydney has inspired Nouha to record the unique history, traditions and recipes of her family.
