A La Grecque

Author(s): Pam Talimanidis

Greek

Pam Talimanidis is one of the masters of simple and delicious Greek cooking. Inspired by her husband's Greek heritage and his home village of Polypetron, Pam has gathered an array of recipes, both traditional and modern, which showcase the incredible flavours of the cuisine. This is Greek food at its best. Inventive but understated offerings include ribbons of silverbeet tossed with roasted walnuts and gorgonzola, and fillets of whiting simply dressed with olive oil, dill, lemon sauce and a tangle of shaved fennel. Uncover the recipes for authentic taramasalata and salt cod croquettes, and taste the sweet delights of rich chocolate tart and roasted nectarines served drizzled with mascarpone. Littered with a charming personal narrative and spectacular photography of breathtaking coastlines, delightful village life in Greece and mouth-watering dishes, A La Grecque stirs a yearning for the Mediterranean and the alluring flavours of its cuisine.
