Simon Wright is English born and trained and spent a period working for Marco Pierre White. He has been one of New Zealand's most outstanding chefs since his arrival in Auckland in the early 1990s. Creghan Molloy Wright is The French Cafe's warm hostess. Photographs by Charlie Smith.
